Vibal Publishing Bags 2 NBDB Quality Seal Awards

Two of Vibal Publishing textbooks: Rainbows in English Grade 5 and Excelling in Mathematics Grade 3 have just been stamped with Quality Seal Award by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) last May 29, 2009.

The NBDB Quality Seal Award is given to an educational product that passed strict evaluation by a panel of evaluators from reputable learning institutions and research centers in the country.

At the awarding ceremony held at the Discovery Suites in Pasig City, a plaque for each of the winning textbooks was presented to Vibal Product Devt. Manager Carina M. Espino by NBDB Executive Director Atty. Andrea P. Flores and Deputy Executive Director Frances Jeanne Sarmiento.

Started in 2007, the NBDB Quality Seal Awards aims to recognize the best books in English and Math for elementary and high school. Nominations from private schools and publishers are submitted to the NBDB. The entries are subject to close scrutiny of the content and physical features by panel of experts.

Vibal Publishing also received NBDB Quality Seal Award for its XP Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry and Statistics in 2007. This year only Vibal Publishing has won the coveted NBDB Quality Seal Award for the two subject areas.

Rainbows in English Grade 5 is authored by Evelyn B. Angeles, Carmelita A. Relente, Agnes P. Galapon, and Rodelio T. Santos and edited by Josephine M. Cruz, Ph.D. and Gloria M. Gacoscosim.

Excelling in Mathematics Grade 3 is authored by Carmelita C. Coronel and Amelia F. Lopez and edited by Joy Dy.
