About the author:

Jomike Tejido took up Architecture at the University of Sto. Tomas. He is the author/illustrator of the "Animal Myths Series," "Si Dindo Pundido," "Dinosaur Pop-up!," and 20 other children’s books in the Philippines and Singapore. He was part of the IBBY Honor List 2004 for Illustration.

Jomike also paints acrylic abstracts on strawmat. He has always loved insects ever since he was little. When he is happy, he jumps like a grasshopper.
