Fabian de la Rosa and His Times is the first book published under the Art Series imprint of the Vibal Foundation. A collection of of essays on the 20th century, internationally-acclaimed Filipino master, whose rightful place in the history of Philippine art has been obscured by his more illustrious predecessors Juan Luna and Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo, and his famous protégé and nephew, Fernando Amorsolo.

The essays are accompanied by rich reproductions of dela Rosa`s paintings. Also included are essays written by the painter himself and the most comprehensive list of paintings done by the master in his lifetime.
