The oldest literary literary award in the Philippines and in the world!

The book tells the story of the Premio Zobel, the oldest literary award in the Philippines, instituted to save and revivify the Spanish language of the nation, and to honor and promote the best Filipino writing in Spanish. Over the last 80 years, this most prestigious award has been bestowed on well-known writers, poets, journalists and other personages who wrote to express themselves in the language they loved.
