Science and Health 1-6 follows the five steps to successful teaching: exploration, development, assimilation, application, and evaluation. It uses discovery and process-oriented approaches to science and health education.
It is designed to gradually but effectively cultivate pupils' scientific habits and attitudes. Basic observation skills are honed at the primary levels, while problem-solving skills are sharpened at the intermediate levels.
Each book is divided into four major units dealing with people, plants and animals, matter and energy, and earth and space to comprehensively cover the prescribed science and health curriculum. |
